Hello my name is Joann Ocanas I live in Houston,Tx.Im a mother of Six & A grandmother of three grandchildren, My daughter is a single parent and has been threw some very hard times and dead ends. She just came back home to live me,did not succeed where she tried to start a better life for her and her 3 children. As a mother i am doing every thing i can do for her and the kids , But the biggest problem i have is transportaion for them, I have a car that i have been using for six months now it belongs to my uncle, and it is a 86 pontiac grand am but to small and it's very hard to load up three car seats in this little car. I have a daughter who is sixteen and some times has to stay behide because there's no room for her. I have a job that bearly gets me by with bills and only pays me 32 hrs a week It's not enough to buy a car for her or for us. She just came home and still has to find a job. but it's hard with one car, I have tried to get help but no blessing yet. To Whom It May Concern: My daughter is in need of a vehicle if possible
she was recently assaulted taking the train. If there is anyone out there that
can understand the position of my daughter who just graduated from H.S.
She is just starting college to study to be a Chef. She is afraid to step out. I
hope that the car give-away program can help my daughter by donating her a
car. It is important for my daughter to feel safe. May god bless the people who
can help my daugher with a car.
